Yellow Hibiscus

Flowers

This flower is the only one I've ever seen in yellow.  Its a hibiscus.  Its only about 2' tall.  I got it at the Safeway Grocery store in Bowie, MD on Sept. 10, two days ago.

This pot has 3 "sticks" that are embedded in potatoes buried in the potting soil. The sticks are crepe myrtle. I have my doubts if this will work but I'm giving it a try. The sticks have been in the potatoes since Aug 22. The sticks don't appear to be dead, but they don't seem to be alive, either.

Also, you can see baby green spider plant snippets rooting. They came off the neighbors hanging pot that was placed on my fence. The arms of one of the spiders came through the wooden slats and had these babies. The wind broke the arm off so I found the babies on the ground and put them in the pot with the crepe myrtle sticks.
